Dr. Don Costlow
Dr. Don Costlow received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1985. He is a 1990 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During his studies in veterinary school, he was inducted into the Phi Zeta Organization for academic excellence. From May 1991 to June 1997, Dr. Costlow was the Chief Veterinarian at an animal emergency and critical care facility outside of Cleveland, Ohio. He appeared regularly on FOX Television’s “Good Day Cleveland”, where he presented various topics on pet healthcare. Dr. Costlow took over as President of Newton Veterinary Hospital in July of 1997 and founded the Animal Emergency Hospital of NJ in 2002. He was President of the NWNJVMS in 2004 and an active member of AVMA and AAHA. He is currently a member of Newton Rotary (Past President 2008-2009; member since 1997) and:

Dr. Kyle Horn
Education: Undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science) in Animal Science at Cornell University

Dr. Terri Schneider
Dr. Terri Schneider grew up in Flanders, NJ and worked in several area vet hospitals while attending Mount Olive High School and during Undergraduate Studies at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA.
Dr. Schneider graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She was published in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine while a student in veterinary school.
After graduating veterinary school in Ohio, she returned to her home state and currently resides in Budd Lake, NJ. She has been practicing both Emergency and Preventative Medicine in Morris and Sussex County since 1995.
Dr. Schneider joined The Newton Veterinary Hospital Group in November 2007 and has spent the last 10 years practicing emergency and preventative medicine at the 24 Hour Newton Vet location.
She has special interests in Feline medicine, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel medicine, Soft tissue surgery and Ophthalmology. Dr. Schneider has also bred and shown CFA registered Himalayan and Persian cats.
When not at work, Dr. Schneider enjoys anything outdoors-notably nature walks with her dogs, fishing and gardening. When forced to be indoors, she enjoys reading, cooking and music. Dr. Schneider has two cats, PT and Quill (also known as her wrecking crew), and three Highly spoiled Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Rusty and Sprite who came from rescues with medical issues and Tucker, the newest and most energetic family member.
Dr. Darlene Fletcher
Dr. Fletcher was born and raised in the great state of New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, with a double major in Animal Nutrition and Animal Science, and graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995, after completing her senior year at Oklahoma State University. Her veterinary interests include dog and cat behavior, soft tissue surgery and chronic pain management protocols. Outside work, Dr. Fletcher performs charity work with Order of the Eastern Stars, enjoys Aikido and yoga, and taking long hikes with her 2 Pomeranians, Karl Lagerfeld and Ziggy Smalls. On Game Day, she roots for Rutgers, Oklahoma State, and anyone who is playing against Texas.
Amy is Budd Lake Animal Hospital's Practice Manager and has been a team member since their grand opening in 2011. She has had the honor of leading the Budd Lake team in providing excellent medical care and superior customer service. Amy has the joy of being involved in every aspect of veterinary care for the Budd Lake community. She is constantly leading her team to go above and beyond with each patient, ensuring that they receive the best healthcare possible.
You and your pet can rest assure that she has your pets best interest at heart. When Amy is pulled away from her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their three daughters, and hound mix George. She also enjoys baking, crafting, and painting.
Ashley joined Budd Lake Animal Hospital as a Client Service Representative and is now part of Budd Lake's Veterinary Technician team. Ashley graduated from the University of Vermont majoring in Art Education but has always been a huge animal lover. Growing up she wanted to become a veterinarian and is so excited to be working with animals and learning new things every day.
When Ashley is not working she enjoys painting, practicing yoga, long walks on the beach, and crafting with friends. She also enjoys taking hikes with her Karelian Bear Dog, named Bandit.
Diana joined our team at Budd Lake Animal Hospital in February of 2018 as a Client Service Representative. Her passion for animals is like no other, as she learned from her mother who would often foster dogs when she was younger. She is so excited to be able to have a career working with animals and learning new things each day.
Jessica recently has joined our growing Budd Lake Animal Hospital team in March of this year as a Client Service Representative. She and her husband recently moved back to New Jersey after living in Florida, where the weather was beautiful, but she says there is nothing like New Jersey's seasons!
Jessica has a beautiful cat named Esther and two loveable dogs named Teddy Bear and Levi. When Jessica is not working she loves to spend her time hiking and taking her boys on long walks.
Lindsay joined our team at Budd Lake Animal Hospital in October 2017 as a Veterinary Assistant, after starting at our sister hospital, Newton Veterinary Hospital. She enjoys learning all aspects of animal care and getting to know each of our furry patients. Lindsay plans on broadening her technician skills; anticipating for the future to assist in surgery.
When Lindsay is not working she enjoys shopping, watching movies, hanging with friends, and getting caught in the rain.
